Up Church Street, round Oaklore and into Art Cove

Hi everyone.

I’m so amazed at the opportunities that keep coming my way – the road is certainly rising to meet me these days.

So, lots of news to tell you!

In no particular order, here are the 3 main things that I’m so excited to announce, all from events happening in the last few weeks.

  • As of tomorrow, paintings of mine are on display for sale at the lovely Church Street Gallery in the beautiful town of Saffron Walden in Suffolk.  The owner is a lovely lady called Helen Baynham who is a pleasure to deal with.  The gallery sells contemporary art and gifts.  Well worth a visit.  I loved it.
  • Very soon my images will be used on some beautiful cards at ArtCove.  They are based in London and sell quality blank art greetings cards.  Again, really lovely people to do business with.  Each month they do a wallpaper for your computer, and this month they have gone with the Mad March Hare theme and used one of my images 🙂  You can download it and have it for yourself by clicking here http://artcove.co.uk/blog/march-2012-desktop-wallpaper.html
  • As part of a package sold by Oaklore Ltd, my cards will soon be sold alongside trees for gifts and special occasions.  Oaklore is a venture to create new woodlands for East Anglia. By doing so they provide opportunities to improve wildlife habitats and enable you to offset carbon emissions.  The company is funded by providing individuals the opportunity to sponsor tree(s) for a wide variety of occasions.
They are also involved in the tree planting project for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.  Lovely earthy people and a pleasure to deal with too.

So as you can see, I’ve had a busy few weeks connecting with these lovely people and I’m so thrilled to be part of all of it.

Now I will be spending time working towards the exhibition with my Dad  as it launches on the 31st March!

I have several new paintings to go in the show, here is a new watercolour:
